Save My Place
Load My Place

Lusynda and Jentari find out just who the ferals are now trying to devour. Apparently they have a taste for pork (even when its wielding a large axe). Is this a good or bad sign for the hare tribe? Starvation has caused the ferals to throw caution to the wind and attack anything they can eat. They usually hunt beasts, fowl, fish, living things that have only an animal intelligence and awareness because in the past, attacking tribes of humanoid beings such as the hare tribe brought bloody retaliations. For them to be attacking armed fighters is a sign of extreme desperation.
I'm trying to get the pages out as fast as I can but there seems no way to really save time with my art style I have now. And I'm still experimenting with this new way of texturing and effects. But I still hope it's worth the wait. I also want my story to flow smoothly from page to page, and that sometimes means adding scenes to help with clarity.
EDIT: Oh, and the butterfly in Jentari's word balloon is meant to be symbolic of nervousness, like "butterflies in the stomach".

its well worth the wait...you are putting out just fantastic art work!
14th Jun 2012, 5:12 PM
I am flattered, indeed. T'ank you.

I can't help but think "Is Kermit going to show up with a sword?".
31st May 2012, 12:27 PM
You never know who might show up swinging a blade in this world.

Hmmm, tough choice there. Take advantage of the distraction and escape or try to save the pig's bacon?
I don't mind waiting for pages anyhow; I'm no speed demon myself and the end results are pretty badass. So long as it keeps going I'll keep reading :)

Bacon or battle? A tough choice. But, I have plenty of story to tell about Lusynda and her world, I guarantee it gets more interesting.

Read through and loved it. It really got a Heavy Metal/Slaine vibe going. And I mean that as very high praise. Can't wait to see more.

Excellent. I always strive to put out intense art, the kind that just leaps out at you from the page.

This is a GCS&S (Good, Curvy, Sword & Sorcery) comic... I see you works a lot with digital art mixing it up with traditional inking, am I right?
Lots of sexy girls in your fantasy world!
Now I can't wait to see what's gonna happen to Lusynda and Jenthari...
28th Jun 2012, 11:50 AM
Indeed, but I feel that I'm overdoing it with the digital effects. I will be going back to basics with the next page.
Now what is fantasy art without sexy girls?
1st Jul 2012, 6:41 PM
Often quite boring otherwise.
3rd Jul 2012, 5:58 AM
I agree with both. Fantasy without sexy girls would be quite boring.
So are you going to go back to more traditional artwork? Can't wait to see it!
