Save My Place
Load My Place

That porcine woman seems a tad surly, especially considering Lusynda and Jentari may have saved her humungous hiney from being supper. But she seems to understand more than she is letting on...in the next installment Lusynda reaches her village to get a surprise.
This is far more my traditional style than the last two pages. I did a lot of thinking on the digital effects and concluded that it was drowning my line art and taking away from my artistic identity. The art is very much a work in progress, but I think I'm on the right path. What do you think?
EDIT: Had a very interesting observation on my art. A good friend of mine compared my art to dauger-type photography of the 19th century.

She's scheming something…
Use them as bait?
Ally with them?
Sell them to the ferals?
Eat them herself?

Oh, indeed she is scheming...and one of those answers is correct.

1. I totally agree with you. A more basic, traditional artwork is definitely better. Although you are good with digital art, I think that your stile looks much more better in this pages than in the last 2. Your efforts produced a very nice result, I love it.
2. your going back to the traditional style made me take a decision: I will back to the gloomy, dark style of the first pages of my comic. Perhaps not so detailed as before, but surely more gloomy and line-arted. I'll do my best!
3. the porcine girl is intriguing...
4. I can't wait to see Jenthari's boobs exposed... ^^

Nudeness, violence, good art and interesting story... what's not to like about this comic?
16th Jul 2012, 11:50 AM
That it isn't updated more often.

I thought the art with digital effects was pretty good, but indeed more traditional methods have a greater sense of personality to them. Whatever works ;)
Also, really dig your shadowing in the second panel!

I agree with you, I think traditional artistic methods do showcase the personality of the art better. My return to my traditional style was motivited more than just personality, I felt part of my artistic identity was being compromised by the digital effects. I want my art to be as much as me as possible, not the computer. Which might sound odd considering it's a webcomic. But I do think I am taking the right path with my work.
And thanks for the compliment.
