Despite Ba'Thet's toughness and ferocity, she is vunerable and not immune to fear. She is rather naïve in the ways of the world since her tribe live a very simple and primitive existence. She also finds out how important a good friend is in a time of need.
We get the first hint of what may be the problem with the Great River, next page we find out exactly what has happened.

Giants may be stupid & clumsy, but never assume the giants you are dealing with are!

All giants are BIG! That alone makes them dangerous even under the best of circumstances.

I liked that how Ba'thet cried! Some sympathy for the badass. :)

I'm glad you approve. I was getting the feeling that I was portraying Ba'Thet as being too petty and not taking her responsibilities seriously. I didn't want her to be iron, or just seem to be goofing around.

I like how Ba'thet cried, also! the tough queen has a soft side

Above and below the waist as well. But seriously, this is a good example of why I like to draw female characters. Can you see a male crying like that? It would be seen as being weak, not complementing his personality. Women characters have a lot more emotional flexibility.
Oh, and I like drawing enormous ta-tas.

LOL!!!! ta-tas are nice! your reasons are the same for me as to why i like to feature female characters

I guess if you were to say Archmerdion were 'compensating' for something with that sword it wouldn't be wrong!
Plus, giants eh?
4th Oct 2013, 10:22 PM
They might be giants. And let's face it, macho males love to overcompensate in so many ways. At least Archmerdion doesn't have a comb-over and a monster truck.
